Surviving Australia’s Wet Season: Tips for Road Trippers

Australia’s wet season (generally November to April in the north) can be an unforgettable experience, waterfalls explode to life, wildlife is abundant, and the landscapes turn emerald green. 1. Choose the Right Vehicle

A standard car rental is fine for cities and sealed highways, but if you’re exploring the Top End, Queensland tropics, or the Kimberley, consider a high-clearance vehicle or 4WD.

2. Check Road Conditions Daily

Floods and road closures can happen fast. Check:
