Terms and Conditions
Imoova operates as a marketplace connecting travellers with vehicle rental companies. Rental providers list the vehicles they have available for relocation, including cars, RVs, and campervans, often at a nominal cost. Imoova does not own, operate, or supply any vehicles and takes no responsibility for the condition, availability, or performance of the rental vehicles. Our services can be accessed through www.imoova.com or our call centre. By creating a booking, you acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions of both Imoova and the rental company.
Cancellation Policy
Before Confirmation
Full refund of the booking fee, holding deposit, and any down-payment made on extra days.
After Confirmation
Forfeiture of the booking fee, holding deposit, and any down-payment made on extra days.
We do not offer refunds for cancellations after confirmation.
Please note: The supplier’s standard rental cancellation policy does not apply to relocation bookings.
Supplier Cancellations
The rental company reserves the right to void a relocation booking if the initial need for the relocation is no longer valid. If the selected vehicle becomes unavailable, the rental company may substitute the vehicle without prior notice. The rental company is responsible for notifying you of cancellations. Liability is limited to reimbursement of the booking fee, holding deposit, down-payment on extra days, and any administrative fees paid to Imoova. Imoova does not reimburse ancillary expenses including accommodation, meals, or itinerary changes. We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unexpected expenses.
Bond Payment
All rental companies require the renter to provide a bond payment. The bond is refunded upon completion of the relocation when the vehicle is returned in the same condition. The card used to pay the bond must be in the same name as on the rental contract. The rental company will not accept a card in another person’s name.
Bond Refunds
Bond refunds are processed by the rental company in accordance with their policies. Refunds may take up to four (4) weeks, depending on the provider’s procedures. Imoova has no control over the bond refund process and cannot assist with, intervene in, or resolve bond disputes. Any issues regarding bond deductions or delays must be raised directly with the rental company.
Holding Deposit
If your booking requires a holding deposit, it will be refunded within 14 days of completing the relocation.
The rental company is responsible for refunding the holding deposit. Imoova is not liable for any delays in this process.
Extra Days
A down-payment is required for bookings that exceed the number of relocation days. This payment is made to Imoova.
Fuel Inclusions
All fuel costs are the renter’s responsibility. The vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel as when it was collected.
If fuel inclusions are listed in your confirmation (see inclusions section), the cost of fuel up to the amount stated will be refunded by the supplier against valid receipts. Please refer to the supplier’s terms and conditions for further details. Imoova is not responsible for fuel refunds.
Modifications to Bookings
Any alterations to your booking after submission will incur an administrative fee. Changes to dates, locations, or vehicles may result in different rates from those originally booked.
Some changes may not be possible after booking confirmation. The rental company reserves the right to refuse any modifications.
If you return the vehicle prior to the scheduled drop-off date, there will be no refund for unused days.
On-Hire Modifications
After the relocation has commenced, any modifications to the booking will be at the discretion of the rental company.
The extra day rate listed on the Imoova website is a preferential rate available only before commencement of the relocation. The rental company reserves the right to charge modifications at their standard retail rate.
Accuracy of Information
Imoova does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information provided on its website. This includes:
- The details of each listed vehicle
- The availability of the vehicle at the time requested
- The departure and delivery times available
- The addresses of the departure and delivery depots within the requested area
Imoova strives to keep information precise and updated but reserves the right to verify and update details provided on the booking confirmation. Imoova is not liable for any expenses incurred due to inaccuracies.
The rental company will provide the most accurate information regarding your relocation. Any disputes between the information provided by Imoova and the rental company must be raised prior to the commencement of the relocation. Liability is limited to reimbursement of the booking fee and any deposit paid to Imoova.
